Meet the Provider

Elizabeth Carranza, NP-C

Elizabeth Carranza, NP is a native Californian with Hispanic roots and a genuine love for nature and whole-person wellness. When she isn’t enjoying time outdoors, Elizabeth can often be found expanding her knowledge in health, wellness, cooking, and gardening—interests that naturally complement her integrative approach to care.

Elizabeth is deeply passionate about equipping herself with the tools necessary to promote meaningful healing in the patients she serves. Her approach incorporates multiple modalities, including therapy, medication management, targeted supplement recommendations when appropriate, and a faith-informed perspective for those who wish to include it in their care. She believes that mental health is not limited to the mind alone, but is deeply connected to the body, environment, and lived experience.

With over 10 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth began her career in Family Medicine at an outpatient community clinic. It was there that she became acutely aware of the unmet mental health needs within the community—an experience that inspired her to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care. In 2021, she returned to school at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, where she graduated with honors and received the Dean’s Leadership Award.

Throughout her years in practice, Elizabeth also developed a strong clinical interest in the relationship between hormones and mental health. She has dedicated extensive time to both education and clinical care, working with women through hormone therapy when appropriate to support the menopausal transition and optimize both mental and physical well-being.

Committed to lifelong learning, Elizabeth continues to advance her training through specialized education. She is currently completing a fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry under Dr. James Greenblatt and is preparing to sit for her certification exam with The Menopause Society. Her ongoing goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate care that empowers patients to feel balanced, supported, and confident in their health journey.
